Industry accolades: I was awarded as First Runner-Up for Gel Nail Design in 2017 - 2018 - 2020 in Thailand, South Korea, Taiwan & Japan. I'm very good at seeing a competitor's passion & their story telling through nail art. I'm well trained to judge detail in gel nail design, but I actually LOVE SCULPTING☆彡
Favourite nail brands: Pregel, emena & EZflow
Industry figures you admire: I deeply admire everyone in the nail industry, regardless of their career length or position. I believe we all share the same love & passion for this craft. If I were to highlight specific individuals, I would choose Eriko Kurosaki & Yoko Matsuda - true legends of the Japanese nail industry!
Career biography: I began my nail industry career in Tokyo in 2010 as a salon artist. Soon after, I became manager of a bustling salon that was open nearly 24/7 & served a high-profile clientele, including Japanese celebrities & artists. Three years later, I opened my own salon & eventually grew it into three uniquely themed locations across Tokyo.
In addition, I became a producer & director for PREANFA, one of Japan’s leading nail product companies. Together - myself as an artist & PREANFA as a top brand - have expanded our business globally. Today, I am based in Los Angeles, continuing to share my expertise with the world.
Personal biography: I was born & raised in Tokyo, Japan. I LOVE eating & have been betrayed by two boys in the past. So all the cute nail girlies, please be mindful of BAD GUYS♡
Why you believe in nail competitions?: Everyone has a chance & true effort & passion will never betray you - whether you win an award or not. The skills you build will always stay with you & strengthen your professional career. This is why I believe so strongly in nail competitions.
Advice to competitors: Believe in yourself & ENJOY ★
