Why did you choose to join the Nailympia circuit?: I chose to participate in Nailympia because it’s one of the most prestigious competitions in the industry. The organisation is always flawless, the judging panel is highly professional & it consistently provides artists with the incredible opportunity to showcase their work to the world. I also love the variety of categories it offers & the option to compete online — it’s a huge plus for those of us who can’t always travel due to work commitments. On top of that, it’s amazing to see Nailympia represented in so many countries around the globe!
What has winning at Nailympia done for your career & confidence?: Winning at Nailympia has brought me so many positive things, both personally & professionally. On a personal level, there's nothing quite like the joy of pushing past your own limits — it’s incredibly motivating & fulfilling. Professionally, it has opened doors to amazing opportunities, allowing me to reach more people & even teach classes in other countries.
Industry accolades: I’ve been awarded 14 medals ? in various championships, including Nailympia London, Nailympion Madrid & Portugal.
Favourite nail brands: I’ve had the chance to work with so many fantastic brands over the years that it would be hard to name just a few — I genuinely appreciate each one for their unique qualities ?
Career biography: I’m a Spanish nail artist, international educator & certified judge with over 14 years of experience. What started as a simple hobby has grown into my dream career — a journey full of passion, dedication & constant learning. I’ve had the honour of teaching in 8 different countries & guiding over 10,000 students through a transparent & empowering method that focuses on real, long-term results. My classes are designed to boost confidence, awaken creativity & provide the tools needed to achieve excellence. As both an educator & competitor, I believe in always raising the bar & staying true to the art. With a background in fine arts & a deep love for detail, I bring a unique, artistic perspective to everything I do. I’m proud to be part of a global community that shares the same passion for nails & I strive to continue inspiring others through education, competition & creativity.
Personal biography: I’m Silvia, from Spain — a creative spirit who began as a graffiti artist for 11 years. Before falling in love with nail art, I explored illustration & custom clothing. Life led me to become independent & a mother at a very young age, working in all kinds of jobs, from waitress to certified gardener. Each step shaped the woman I am today: strong, passionate & deeply connected to art. I believe in dreaming big, creating from the soul & never giving up on what sets your heart on fire ❤️?
Why you believe in nail competitions?: I believe in nail competitions because they push you to grow beyond your limits. They challenge your creativity, your technique & your mindset & that leads to real evolution as an artist. It’s not just about winning, it’s about learning, connecting & being brave enough to show your work to the world. Every competition is an opportunity to become better, more confident & more passionate about what you do ?
Advice to other competitors: My advice to other competitors is: don’t focus only on winning — focus on learning, growing & enjoying the process. Every competition is a chance to challenge yourself & evolve. Prepare with love, give your best & be proud of every step. Stay humble, trust your style & don’t compare yourself to others. Your biggest competition is who you were yesterday. Keep showing up & results will follow ✨
