Career biography: Director of Andreia Professional Academy & Product Manager at Andreia Professional
I have been a licensed esthetician & cosmetologist since 2010, specialising in various therapeutic treatments. With a professional journey that began in 2010 as a nail technician, I have since mastered numerous advanced techniques & expanded my expertise as a professional make-up artist in 2011. I’ve been working as a trainer & educator since 2011 & served as brand manager for an international brand between 2012 & 2017. Since 2016, I have also been honoured to act as an international nail competition Judge. In 2017, I took on dual leadership roles as director of Andreia Professional Academy & product manager for Andreia Professional, where I continue to contribute to the development & education of beauty professionals.
Personal biography: Married for 14 years & a proud mother of two wonderful children, I find immense joy & fulfillment in my family life. Outside of my professional commitments, I’m deeply passionate about the arts & creativity, which naturally extends into my hobbies - whether it’s crafting, designing or exploring new artistic expressions. I also value physical well-being & make time to stay active through regular exercise, which helps me maintain balance & energy in both my personal & professional life.
Why you believe in nail competitions?: I truly believe in the power of nail competitions because they push us beyond our limits, inspiring growth, creativity & excellence. These events are more than just a showcase of technical skill - they are a celebration of passion, discipline & artistry. Competitions create a space where professionals challenge themselves, learn from one another & elevate the industry standard. I’ve seen how they can transform a technician’s mindset, turning insecurity into confidence & routine into innovation. For me, being part of this world is not just about judging - it’s about witnessing dreams take shape, talent being recognised & the never-ending pursuit of mastery.
Advice to competitors: To all competitors: believe in your potential & trust your preparation. A competition is not just about winning - it's about showing up, giving your best & growing through the process. Focus on technique, precision & creativity, but never forget the importance of mindset. Stay calm, stay proud of your work & use every challenge as a learning opportunity. Whether you bring home a trophy or not, every moment spent improving & pushing your limits makes you a stronger professional.
