Career biography: Also known as Henry - I am a renowned nail technician based in Toronto, Canada with over 25 years of experience in the industry. I have had the opportunity as the owner/operator of my own salon, to develop a strong reputation in expertise regarding acrylic, the dip system & hard gel. I have also proven skills in competitions, with 1st Place & 2nd Place finishes in NAILPRO Competitions in 2016 & 2017, respectively.
Personal biography: I started my career with a background in pharmaceuticals. After moving to Canada, I worked at a nail salon to help cover my daily expenses while attending school. What began as a part-time job soon became a passion. I discovered that the beauty industry - especially nails - was where I truly belonged.
As my passion grew, I made the difficult decision to postpone my studies & pursue a career in the nail industry. I took a leap of faith, started my own business & have never looked back. Since then, I have dedicated myself to continuously learning, growing & sharing my knowledge with others.

Why you believe in nail competitions?: Nail competitions are an incredible opportunity for every nail artist to grow professionally. They help you measure your skills, discover your strengths & identify areas for improvement. Beyond the competition itself, they provide valuable learning experiences, inspire creativity, build confidence & expose your work to the industry. Every competition is a step forward in your career & a chance to become a better artist.
Advice to competitors: My advice to every nail competitor: Be yourself, believe in your abilities & compete with confidence. Focus on doing your very best, not on comparing yourself to others. Every competition is a chance to learn, grow & become a stronger artist. Win or lose, the experience will make you better. Trust the process, enjoy the journey & let your passion shine through your work.
