Why did you choose to join the Nailympia circuit?: Nailympia is one of the biggest nail competitions, where you can see many winners and incredibly talented people. They can become your role models for the future and inspire you to challenge yourself to become a winner too.
What has winning at Nailympia done for your career & confidence?: Oh, first of all, I’m very proud of myself. For many years I was nervous about competing with so many people and afraid of failing. But you know what? Nailympia has a special power - it makes you realise you’re stronger than you think and that you can do it.
Industry accolades: I competed for the first time at Nailympia San Antonio in 2025, where I achieved: 1st place in Flat Art 2nd place in Runway Nail Art 2nd place in Reality Nail Art 3rd place in To Stilettos & Beyond
Favourite nail brands: I really enjoy working with acrylic products from Not Polish and Honey Pham. Chisel is another brand I love using for acrylic nails. For gel art, I often use products from Jenny and Vincent, as their gels work beautifully. For top and base coats, I usually rely on KUPA. I also hope to try more new brands in the future.
Career biography: I started doing nails in 2010, and after gaining experience, I spent two years teaching before moving to the United States. Once I arrived, I worked in a nail salon and continued developing my skills by attending various classes. One of the most recent trainings I attended was in Orange County, CA - a class sponsored by Valentino Pure, taught by Master Damon Ho along with several trainers from other states, held at the AA Academy School. I am currently working in a nail salon and I also travel for brands when they need me to represent or promote their products.
Personal biography: Art is my life. I’ve been creating since I was a little boy and I’ve always loved making things. I’m artistic in almost everything I do. I work in nails, but I can also sing, cook, bake and decorate cakes.
Why you believe in nail competitions?: In essence, I believe in nail competitions because they represent the highest professional ideals: perfection, innovation and continuous learning. They are essential for keeping our industry vibrant, progressive and highly skilled. They also encourage you to push yourself and grow into the most successful version of who you can be.
Advice to other competitors: "Don't compete to beat the person next to you; compete to beat your own best work from yesterday."
