With the support of my family, I took the leap & entered this large-scale competition & I have not regretted that decision. Nailympia is a platform where you can truly prove yourself & confidently say, 'I can do it'. Talent, dedication & passion will inevitably lead you to a stage like this one day.
What has winning at Nailympia done for your career & confidence?: Participating in Nailympia is a powerful way to gain recognition within the beauty industry. Through this experience, I built meaningful connections, received professional feedback & strengthened my confidence in both myself & my creative vision. Career biography: My career as a manicurist began in 2016 in a small town in Ukraine. Over the past 10 years, I've worked in different cities & countries & I'm deeply proud of the path I have taken - from a small manicure table at home to the world’s leading stage & my own studio in California.
Most importantly, throughout these years I've never doubted my work or my passion for what I do. I still celebrate every client, every completed set & every new idea. With time, it only becomes stronger & the sparkle in my eyes remains the same.
Personal biography: Like my creative work, my hobbies have always been rooted in creativity. For many years, I studied choreography & dance. An active lifestyle naturally intertwined with my passion for drawing & I also attended art school.
Perseverance became one of my strongest qualities & to this day, painting remains my greatest love. In my free time, I enjoy Lego, puzzles, games & various crafts - all forms of creativity that continue to inspire & recharge me.
Why you believe in nail competitions?: I believe in nail competitions because they are not just contests, but professional platforms for growth. They set a high standard of quality, discipline & technical precision. Competitions push you beyond everyday client work & challenge you to explore your creative potential on a deeper level.
For me, a competition is a way to test myself - my skills, my creative thinking, my understanding of form, composition & detail. It's an opportunity to receive objective evaluation from international judges & to understand where you stand professionally.
Competitions also build a strong professional community. They connect artists from different countries, broaden perspectives & inspire new ideas. It's not only about winning, it's about development, recognition & contributing to the industry.
I'm convinced that through competitions, a nail artist can truly establish their name, validate their level of expertise & elevate the status of the profession itself.
Advice to other competitors: My main advice is to always stay true to yourself & your vision. Carry a clear idea & meaning in your work & speak to the world through what you create. Let your competition entries reflect not only technique, but your personality, your background & your unique perspective. Authenticity is always visible.
No matter how challenging it is to translate an idea from sketch to reality, commit fully to the process & work with discipline & intention. Study details, refine composition, question your choices & push the concept further than feels comfortable. Effort, depth & consistency never go unnoticed.
If it feels difficult, it often means you are stepping beyond your current limits & that is precisely where real artistic growth begins.
