Why did you choose to join the Nailympia circuit?: I decided to take part in Nailympia because one day I saw it & felt something inside me say, “What if you try?”
It looked big. It looked serious & honestly - it scared me a little. The level was high, the stage was international & I knew it would push me far beyond what felt comfortable. But I also knew that if I didn’t give myself that chance, I would always wonder what could have happened. So I signed up. Not because I was sure I would win. Not because I wanted attention. But because I wanted to see who I could become if I stopped being afraid. Competing was my way of trusting my work enough to let it stand on its own & that decision changed me - not only as an artist, but as a professional ready to take responsibility for her level.
What has winning at Nailympia done for your career & confidence?: Winning at Nailympia didn’t turn me into a superstar overnight. I still wake up early, still work long hours & still redo tiny details until they feel just right. But something inside became calmer. Before my first win, there was always a quiet question in the background: Am I truly ready for this level? When my name was announced, I realised - yes, I am.
Then came a second win. And no, my daily routine didn’t suddenly change. But that second recognition made something very clear: the first result wasn’t luck. It was my level.
Having my work evaluated & awarded more than once on an international stage strengthened my confidence in a real way. It showed me that what I create can consistently stand among strong professionals from different countries.
After that, I stopped questioning my place in the industry. I moved forward with more clarity, more trust in my experience & a deeper understanding of the level I represent.
Nailympia didn’t change me - it made me more confident

Career biography: My journey didn’t start in beauty - I studied mechanical engineering, designing wheeled & tracked vehicles. Somewhere between blueprints &machinery, I realised I cared more about perfect nail structure.
While still at university, I began professional nail training & after graduating, I chose this path seriously. My competition journey began in 2016 with small wins in my home country (Ukraine) & since then I’ve continued learning and growing step by step.
Over time, I gained experience within both U.S. & European beauty environments, which led me to the international stage & to Gold & Silver Medals at Nailympia.
Today I live & work in the U.S., have opened my own Nail studio, continue competing & serve as a brand ambassador for Gel Point. This journey is still unfolding & I continue moving forward with purpose.
Looking back, I’m glad I chose nails over tanks.
Personal biography: Outside of competitions & studio work, my life is as diverse as the themes behind Nailympia categories. I enjoy skiing, travelling, quiet fishing, evenings with opera music & loud football games. My husband & children fill my life with energy & this balance keeps my creativity inspired & my mind full of fresh ideas.
Why you believe in nail competitions?: Since childhood, many people believe in Santa Claus - they behave well all year & hope for well-deserved gifts. In my own way, I do something similar. All year I study, train & refine my skills, trusting that my work will be fairly evaluated by experienced judges who look closely at every detail.
For me, competitions are not about luck - they are about professional standards & honest results. Each event gives me a clear understanding of where I stand & what I can improve.
Of course, I always aim higher. With every competition, my goal is to grow, strengthen my level & earn stronger recognition for the work I truly invest in.
Advice to other competitors: If I could give one piece of advice - don’t wait until you feel 'ready'. Most of us never feel fully ready anyway. Competitions are not about perfection; they are about showing up prepared, focused & willing to grow.
Train your technique, respect the rules & pay attention to the smallest details - judges definitely do. At the same time, don’t lose your personality in the process. Strong work always carries the energy of the artist behind it.
And one more thing: nerves before competition are completely normal. If your hands shake a little - good. It means you care. Take a breath, trust your training & just do the work.
