Why did you choose to join the Nailympia circuit?: I chose to join the Nailympia circuit because I believe in the power of global competition to push craft standards, challenge myself creatively & connect with an international community of top nail professionals. As the founder of Prosto Nails and Co LLC in Harrisonburg, Virginia, I want to bring my 10+ years of experience & Ukrainian heritage to the world stage, representing high standards of safety, technique & innovation.
What has winning at Nailympia done for your career & confidence?: Although this was my first Nailympia competition, I anticipate that participating - and potentially winning — will significantly boost my career by raising my profile internationally, supporting my mission of training future nail technicians & reinforcing confidence in my work as an educator & salon owner.

Career biography: Kateryna Tsabilieva, originally from Ukraine, brings over a decade of experience in professional nail artistry. In 2024 she earned her Virginia Nail Technician license and in 2025 founded Prosto Nails and Co LLC in Harrisonburg, Virginia, where she serves both local clients and trains upcoming nail technicians. Passionate about innovation, education and community, she integrates her strong technical foundation with creative design, client safety and empowerment of women undergoing cancer treatment.
Personal biography: Outside the salon, Kateryna is an advocate for women’s empowerment and wellness, creating specialized services and safe spaces for clients undergoing oncology treatment. She founded a children’s corner in her salon to support families and enjoys staying active, travelling and exploring design inspiration from global nail culture
Why you believe in nail competitions?: believe nail competitions elevate the industry by setting benchmarks of excellence, sparking creativity, fostering community and allowing artists to grow beyond everyday salon work. They challenge us to learn, innovate and share knowledge — making the profession stronger for everyone.”
Advice to other competitors: Train consistently and focus on fundamentals: sanitation, precision, client-safety. Use competition as a learning journey, not just a win-goal.
