Career biography: Started my career in 2007, specialising in nail extensions. Since then, I've completed over 100 training programs focused on nail architecture, design, salon techniques, dual forms & creative shape sculpting. For 12 years, I owned a private studio in Russia. I worked with clients daily & consistently refining my professional skills. In the United States I shifted focus towards creating content for an English-speaking audience & promoting Russian manicure techniques across multiple directions. I worked with models to test & improve skills, developing an original approach to cuticle work, dual forms, sculpting & creative nail design. My current mission is to introduce the precision, innovation & aesthetics of Russian nail techniques to a global community & expand the creative potential of modern nail art.
Personal biography: Born in Russia & raised in the extreme North, where winter lasted 10 months a year. I have two degrees — medical & psychological. I have a a 23-year-old daughter who is currently one of the top nail technicians. I enjoy travelling and have visited around 15 countries. I love reading & listening to fantasy books. Since 2021 I've learned English & now I create content for an English-speaking audience on Instagram. In any unclear or stressful moment, I always choose one thing — to go & do nails, either on myself or on someone else.
Why you believe in nail competitions?: I believe in nail competitions because they push the industry forward. They create higher standards, challenge our skills & reveal what each artist is truly capable of when working at their best. Competitions sharpen technique, build confidence & give artists a chance to grow faster than they ever would in regular salon work. Most importantly, they show that nails are not just a service - they are an art form with endless potential.
Advice to other competitors: Choose the category that highlights your strongest skills, not the trendiest one. Don’t be afraid to try creative categories - they don’t drain you like salon work, they inspire you & become real fuel for growth. Connect with people, share your experience & enjoy the process. On the competition floor, don’t stress - focus on the fun. Competitions are truly an amazing experience when you let yourself enjoy them.
