Career biography: Hanna Khalin is an international nail competitor, award-winning artist, official judge & creator of the ALF-SEM™ (Advanced Lower-Form Structural Enhancement Method™) technique, with over 10 years of professional experience in the nail industry.
Since 2020, she has actively competed in international championships, earning five Nailympia medals - four at Nailympia Anaheim 2026 (Division 3 – Professional Level) & one at Nailympia Orlando 2025 along with multiple first-place awards at the WBC Beauty Championship 2020.
She also serves as an official judge at the World Beauty Championship (WBC XVI, 2025). As the founder of N1 Nails Studio & N1 Nails Shop in the United States, Hanna continues to elevate industry standards through competition, education, innovation & the development of advanced structural nail techniques.
Personal biography: In her free time, Hanna enjoys painting & expressing her creativity through art, which has always been a powerful source of inspiration in her life. Sport has also played an important role in her journey. In the past, she competed in volleyball & soccer, constantly challenging herself & striving for excellence. She holds a degree as a Physical Education teacher & was raised with a champion’s mindset, always focused on growth, discipline & continuous self-improvement.
Why you believe in nail competitions?: I believe in nail competitions because they shape true professionals. Competitions challenge artists to push beyond limits, refine technical mastery & transform creativity into excellence. They create international standards, elevate the industry & build resilience, discipline & confidence. For me, competing is not only about medals, it is about growth, integrity & the constant pursuit of a higher level of artistry.
Advice to other competitors: During the process of creating a piece of work, there comes an incredible feeling of pride in yourself. It is a powerful moment when you realise how much you have grown & what you are truly capable of. I want every competitor to experience that feeling, because it is one of the most rewarding parts of the journey.
