Why did you choose to join the Nailympia circuit?: I decided to participate in Nailympia because when I started competing, I discovered Nailympia & it was impossible not to be enchanted. My eyes literally sparkled. In that moment, I could already see myself competing there, being part of something so grand.
I spent days dreaming about this competition. I kept looking at the incredible work of the participants, admiring every detail & imagining myself on that stage, living that experience. It felt distant, almost unreachable… but at the same time, it awakened in me a huge desire to try.
That’s when I decided to participate, even thinking it was a distant dream & without high expectations of winning. I just wanted to live that moment, challenge myself & be part of a universe that had already captured my heart from the very first moment.
What has winning at Nailympia done for your career & confidence?: Winning Nailympia had a transformative impact on my career & my self-confidence. When I won my first Nailympia, in Germany, something changed inside me. I realised that the dream that once seemed distant was actually possible.
After the victory, my work was showcased at the largest trade show in Brazil & that was extremely remarkable. I remember people stopping, looking closely & commenting with admiration about a Brazilian representing Brazil in an international competition. It was emotional to hear that.
And the most special part is that, in that competition, I created a piece inspired by the Amazon. In other words, I literally represented Brazil through the art, the essence & the heart. This strengthened my confidence tremendously, gave me more authority in my field & showed me that I am capable of going far beyond what I had imagined.
Industry accolades: Within one year competing on the international stage, I achieved four titles: 3rd place – Nail Pro (First Division) – Nail Pro; 1st place – Nailympia (1st Division) – Nailympia; 3rd place – Nail Pro (3rd Division) – Nail Pro; 2nd place – Nailympia (3rd Division) – Nailympia.
These results represent my evolution, dedication & growth throughout this period.

Career biography: I've been working in the nail industry for five years, building a career defined by dedication, continuous improvement & a passion for art. Three years ago, I chose to focus exclusively on nail art, dedicating myself fully to artistic creation & education.
I am passionate about teaching & believe that education transforms careers. Today, my mission is to develop confident, skilled & creative professionals. Supporting my students’ growth & helping them reach new levels is what motivates me every day.
I have also challenged myself in the international competitive scene, earning titles that strengthened my technique, expanded my artistic vision & reinforced my authority in the field.
My goal is to elevate the standard of nail art, inspire professionals & prove that with dedication & preparation, dreams can become real achievements.
Personal biography: My name is Flávia Andresa, I am 29 years old & I am Brazilian. I live everything I do with intensity & purpose & I feel a deep connection to movement & nature.
I am truly passionate about sports. Surfing, skateboarding, strength training, diving & paddling an outrigger canoe are not just hobbies, they are part of who I am. For me, sports represent energy, balance, discipline & freedom.
I also value moments of pause. I enjoy meditating, smiling for no reason & finding beauty in simple everyday experiences. I am vegetarian & strive to live consciously, aligned with my values
Why you believe in nail competitions?: I believe in nail competitions because they completely transform the way you live & see your career. Participating in championships changes your mindset, expands your professional vision & pushes you out of your comfort zone.
Competitions demand more technique, more precision, more preparation & greater emotional control. This is what truly makes you grow. You begin to pursue excellence in the details, study more, train more & constantly strive to improve.
For me, championships are not just about winning medals, but about development. They awaken in you a continuous desire to refine your technique, raise your standards & become an increasingly well-rounded professional.
Advice to other competitors: I always encourage every professional I know to compete because I truly believe that championships can completely change your life. It’s not just about technique, it’s about personal growth, professional maturity & expanding your vision.
Competing challenges you, strengthens you & reveals a potential you often didn’t even know you had. You learn to handle pressure, refine your details & start seeing your career from a much broader perspective.
My biggest advice is: don’t be afraid, just go for it. Don’t wait until you feel 100% ready, because growth happens during the process. The decision to compete can be the beginning of a powerful transformation in your journey.
