Why did you choose to join the Nailympia circuit?: Nailympia is my first nail competition, as I had not previously participated in similar events. I chose it for its wide range of creative and inspiring categories, the high level of competitors, and the opportunity to challenge myself. I am truly happy to now be part of this experience.
What has winning at Nailympia done for your career & confidence?: Winning at Nailympia significantly strengthened both my professional confidence & my creative direction. It validated my artistic vision & proved that trusting my own instincts can lead to international recognition. This achievement motivated me to push my boundaries further, refine my technique & pursue a higher level of excellence within the global nail industry.

Career biography: Since 2015, I have worked under my professional name, Diana Kan, building my career from the ground up as a self-taught nail artist while completing my university education. I began with acrylic systems before transitioning into gel techniques, where I refined my precision, structure & artistic control.
My passion for manicure grew through sculpted French design, which remains a signature element of my work today. I am known for my distinctive French manicure style that combines clean structure with elegance & strong visual impact.
I have worked in leading salons in my hometown in Ukraine, as well as in top salons in Moscow & Los Angeles. I am now based in Miami, where I run my own private studio.
I am deeply committed to continuous growth, always learning, refining my technique & evolving within the nail industry to reach higher professional standards.
Personal biography: My profession is also my greatest passion & hobby, as creativity is an essential part of who I am. Beyond nail artistry, I enjoy make-up artistry & brow design, exploring different forms of beauty & self-expression.
I love travelling, discovering new places & experiencing inspiring surroundings. Nature, animals & beautiful environments deeply influence me, as I am drawn to anything that evokes genuine emotion & artistic inspiration.
Why you believe in nail competitions?: I believe in nail competitions because they elevate both the artist & the industry. Competitions challenge creativity, discipline & technical precision at the highest level. They push me beyond comfort, refine my skills & strengthen my artistic identity.
For me, competitions are not only about winning - they are about growth, international standards & contributing to the evolution of nail artistry.
